Hiring someone to build and design your web site is the easiest method. Depending on your requirements, this can be a very expensive or inexpensive
approach. If you are new to building a web site and do not have the time or dedication in building your own, then we recommend hiring one of our
web design partners. You can get a free quote from a few excellent web design firms by filling out the
online form.
DO IT YOURSELF!
The most popular option is to build and design your own web site, saving yourself an extra expense. There are two ways you can approach this method.
1. USE AN HTML EDITING TOOL!
You can use a web page editing tool such as Microsoft Front-Page or
other off-the-shelf program such as DreamWeaver
or HomeSite to design and build your web site.
Microsoft FrontPage comes free in Office 2000 or Office XP. There are also free programs such as
Netscape Composer
from Netscape that you may use. Most designing tools have a built in uploading feature that will allow you to upload your web site.
If you are not using a web page editing tool or do not prefer to use the uploading feature, then you may use an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) tool. If you decide to use an FTP tool, then we suggest
using WS_FTP LE
as it is an excellent program that you may download. Keep in mind that all service plans come with an easy to use control panel.
2. USE A PRE-BUILT WEB
TEMPLATE!
If you are fairly good with a graphing program, you might want to consider using any of the pre-built web templates available on the web. You can find both free and paid templates. This
